Joining The Lutheran Choir of Chicago
The Lutheran Choir of Chicago is looking for choral
singers of all vocal ranges interested in musical growth and
dynamic performance opportunities. The 2010-2011 season is our third
season under Artistic Director, Dr. Wilbert Watkins.
Recent past projects include
production of a Christmas video "Gaudete," two-week long concert
tours of Scandinavia and Austria/Hungary and a concert with
Dave Brubeck, as well as many other concerts in Chicagoloand.
The choir practices on Monday
nights from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, at St. John's Lutheran Church,
4939 West Montrose, in Chicago.

Joining the Lutheran Choir of Chicago
requires a simple audition. Auditions will be held August 30, 2010, December 6, 2010, and
March 21, 2011. The next audition is scheduled for
Monday
, August 30, 2010 from 7:00
p.m to 8:30 pm

Auditions consist of aural drills, singing
"My Country ’Tis of Thee"; sight-reading 8-12 minutes of music.
